Sinopsis: Cultural differences are the fourth error of translation. A translator is required to have specific knowledge and interpretation of a local context and local history, living style, and geographic position. These represent the way the people think about theirs. Some words do not have equivalents in other languages and it is hoped that translators will look for words that are equivalent to them by trying to explain them in more detail. This is a problem in the translation issue, namely the Localization of the Language. When “missing a context,” is the sixth translation error, a translator may refer it back to a context, e.g., run a meeting and run a marathon have different meanings and contexts. Understanding the widest contexts assist a translator avoid make mistakes.
